Irrigation Lab
The East Central Florida RC&D’s Mobile Irrigation Lab began operation in July 2000. It serves Orlando and unincorporated Orange County and is funded by the Orlando Utilities Commission and Orange County Utilities, Water Division.

FDAC's Best Management Practices
Enrollment in the Best Management Practices is now
required for agriculture producers whose operations are
located within adopted Florida Department of Environment
Protection (FDEP) Basin Action Management Plan (BMAP)
areas. Under contract with the Florida Department of
Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) Office of
Agricultural Water Policy, the East Central Florida RC and
D provides agricultural producers with information and
assists with enrollment in the program.
Water Watch Program
The East Central Florida RC&D assists the Orange
County Utilities Water Division with the Water Watch
Program. Water Watch personnel patrol residential and
commercial neighborhoods in unincorporated Orange County
to look for watering violations. When a violation is
found, a photo is taken and a door hanger is left to
advise the violator of the importance of complying with
the water conservation ordinance.
